By the end of 1998 Ricky had reached a spiritual turning point in his life and he took some time to himself and travelled to Asia to explore his interest in easter religions and philosophy. Ricky says, " I did not know what i was going through, but i knew i wanted to go to Tibet, to see the Himalayas and to spend some time in India". On a stop over in Thailand, Ricky met a fellow Puerto Rican who became a spiritual guide and introduced Ricky to the principals of Yoga and Meditation. In early 1999 Ricky returned to Miami with a fresh outlook in life. Ricky was being noticed much more in the non-Latin market and it was definately tme for him to release his first English Album.
